Today I’ve passed the eJPT Certification Exam. It was a great experience, it was my first “practical” exam in a black box environment. I also wanted to make some progress towards the OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) which I promised myself I would achieve eventually.
I did almost 80% of the PTS course and I believe that the materials in the course are enough for passing the exam but you must really understand every tool being used. The exam is not straight forward and will require out of the box thinking for passing the exam. I really liked the questions in the exam, it made it fun and obviously a little hint of what to look for. This is a certification for starters in offensive security but it will teach you good knowledge and some expertise in consults.
I am really happy for this and I expect more certifications to come, PNPT is next!
